Amor Cubano

Located at 2018 3rd Ave. New York, Amor Cubano brings Latin food in an upscale setting to the El Barrio section of East Harlem. The menu adheres to Cuban favorites like vaca frita—shredded bits of steak fried with onions and copious amounts of garlic—and lechon asado, or roast pork, dripping with sour orange mojo sauce.

La Fonda Boricua

La Fonda has been serving up homestyle Puerto Rican cooking for over two decades now in New York's East Harlem. El Nuevo Caribeño

Located at 1675 Lexington Ave, New York, El Nuevo Caribeño Restaurante is a compact, laid-back eatery with a full bar dishing up classic Latin American main courses & sides, but their specialty is Dominican cuisine and karaoke on the weekends!

El Museo del Barrio

El Museo del Barrio, New York’s leading Latino cultural institution, welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to discover the artistic landscape of Latino, Caribbean, and Latin American cultures. Their richness is represented in El Museo’s wide-ranging collections and exhibitions, complemented by film, literary, visual and performing arts series, cultural celebrations, and educational programs. Blue Coco

Located at 153 East 106 Street, New York, Blue Coco was born out of the founder's desire to eat a healthy meal before or after going running at Central Park or after playing basketball across the street. They decided to be part of a solution and to offer a variety of healthy and balanced meals and snacks.

Teatro SEA

Established in 1985, SEA (Society of the Educational Arts, Inc.), is the premiere Bilingual Arts-in-Education Organization and Latino Children’s Theater in the United States. SEA has created and produced a combination of educational theater productions and art workshops/programs specifically designed to examine, challenge and create possible solutions for current educational, social and community issues. Its internationally celebrated programs include school, outdoor, community and main stage performances, workshops and residencies, among others, reaching over 75,000 children and young adults every year. The organization, established by Dr. Manuel A. Morán, currently has offices in San Juan, New York, and Florida. In celebration of its 25th Anniversary in 2010, SEA opened a brand new state-of-the-art performance space at the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Rafael Tufiño Printshop @ Taller Boricua

The RTP founded and run by Taller Boricua and RTP Master Printmaker Director Nitza Tufiño, was established to maintain the original mission of TB’s as activists/artists using all genres of printmaking as a vehicle for education, resistance and political engagement.

An Art Gallery and Computerized Precision Custom Framing Shop conveniently located in the heart of Harlem, New York. La Morada

An undocumented family-owned and operated Oaxaca Restaurant in the South Bronx. Their goal is to preserve and share indigenous Mexican cuisine with our neighbors and friends. Pregones / Puerto Rico Traveling Theater

Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater (aka Pregones/PRTT) is a multigenerational performing ensemble, multidiscipline arts presenter, and owner/steward of bilingual arts facilities in The Bronx and Manhattan. Their mission is to champion a Puerto Rican/Latinx cultural legacy of universal value through creation and performance of original plays and musicals, exchange and partnership with other artists of merit, and engagement of diverse audiences.

Teatro LATEA

LATEA (Latin American Theater Experiment Associates) is a performing arts theater company that has been a Latino cultural staple for over 30 years. Through multicultural and multidisciplinary initiatives at The Clemente, which it helped establish, LATEA assiduously promotes Latino performing arts to Latinos and multicultural audiences and presents multicultural work to Latinos.

La Marqueta Retoña

La Marqueta Retoña is an initiative to revive the social and cultural elements of this historical site through the arts, music and community activities. Located underneath the Park Avenue elevated train station between 115th and 116th Streets in El Barrio, La Marqueta hosts special events which aim to celebrate Latin culture, educate and instill a sense of pride in the next generation of residence living in El Barrio.

The Lower Eastside Girls Club

The Lower Eastside Girls Club has been “Opening Doors, Empowering Women, and Building Community Girl by Girl” since 1996. Today they operate a full-service arts, science and civic engagement Center for Community on Avenue D adjacent to the low-income NYCHA housing projects. They also run programs that serve girls and young women throughout New York’s five boroughs.

Repertorio Español

Repertorio Español was founded in 1968 to introduce the best of Latinx, Spanish and Hispanic-American theatre in distinctive, quality productions, and to bring theatre to a broad audience in New York City and across the country, including seniors, students and Hispanics of all national backgrounds. The Company presents over 300 performances of 15 different productions in rotating repertory and guest events annually. The productions, some of which remain in repertory for many years, are directed, designed and performed by a talented ensemble of experienced and emerging Latino theatre artists from diverse Spanish-speaking nations as well as the United States. The company’s productions are most often performed in Spanish with English captions opening the door to non-Spanish speakers to experience Latino theater as well.

MoRUS

As a living history of urban activism, the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MoRUS) chronicles the East Village community’s history of grassroots action. It celebrates the local activists who transformed abandoned spaces and vacant lots into vibrant community spaces and gardens. Many of these innovative, sustainable concepts and designs have since spread out to the rest of the city and beyond.

The Lit. Bar

The Lit. Bar is the only bookstore in Boogie Down Bronx. They encourage curious readers and welcome literary, art, and community gatherings —connecting the great pastimes of social drinking and introverted reading. They offer a carefully curated selection of general books, gift items, programming, and create original media content, which emphasize local interest and diversity for all ages.

Loisaida Cultural Center

The Loisaida Center is a Puerto Rican and Latino based multi-use facility in the downtown New York area. The Center aspires to build a connection between community, learners, artists and scholars through affordable education opportunities in cultural fields, STEAM, design and everyday life. Its multi-purpose space aims to become an incubator for self-sustainable artisanal, technology, and culinary arts entrepreneurial initiatives. Devoted to collaborative art practices, social engagement and community building through culture, the Center’s approach celebrates the urban surroundings, grassroots invention and immigrant spirit of the Loisaida neighborhood in its dedication to celebrate Latino cultural vitality and their contributions to NYC.

Port Morris Distillery

Port Morris Distillery was founded in 2010 by co-owners Rafael Barbosa and William Valentin. The two distill a specialty spirit, Pitorro; a traditional Puerto Rican Moonshine native to the island of Puerto Rico. Using their uncle's original recipe of apples, honey and brown sugar, the two created a bold, smooth and tasteful 92 proof spirit. Visitors at the Distillery in the Bronx can enjoy a tour and complimentary tastings of the traditonal Pitorro.

El Barrio’s Artspace PS109

Developed to showcase and support the arts in East Harlem, El Barrio's Artspace PS 109 brings together a vibrant community of artists and their families. The stunning edifice’s four top floors have been converted to 89 units of affordable live/work housing for the tenant artists, who are encouraged to display their artwork in the hallways outside of their apartments. The ground floor and lower levels are dedicated to a resident gallery and space for arts and cultural organizations. El Barrio's Artspace PS 109 is quickly evolving into a pivotal and popular part of East Harlem!
